My early visits, I stayed at Seascape Villa (with the Steinway piano) in Olde Towne, and more recently, have rented Cythera in Woodlands through Susan at Tradewinds.

Life events forced me to cancel my vacation there last February, and of course, the new Canadian travel rules put in place have negated the possibility of going back this winter.

I’ve hiked the waterfall, smelled the souffriere, visited Air Studios and snorkelled to Rendezvous. I’ve walked the shelter dogs, too. I love watching the beaches being re-opened and admire the efforts of the people to make their island unforgettable.

Maybe by next year, the new abbatoir will actually be selling fresh meat, to go with the amazing veggies sold by the ladies across from Ram’s or they’ll have the open air market in Little Bay open.
